who am i?

Hey there! My name is Angie! And travel is my passion!

  • Travel has been in my blood for as long as I can remember. I want to go everywhere and see everything!
  • If someone talks about a destination I’m unfamiliar with, I am immediately researching it! I want to learn all I can.
  • I can, and have, spent countless hours simply looking at maps. And I mean HOURS at a time!
  • I have been vegan for 8+ years now, and I love finding delicious vegan food all over the world!
  • I love traveling as eco-friendly and budget friendly as possible.
  • I have travelled to Canada, Mexico, Ireland, England, Italy, and Peru. I will be adding France, Greece, and Tanzania later this year!

Some of my favorite travel memories… Let me help you add to yours!

Vegan Travel Challenges

Traveling as a vegan presents significant challenges. Consequently, unlike non-vegans, we need to do copious amounts of research and as a result, we often plan our days around the closest vegan restaurant.

This is where I come in! I have been fortunate enough to have had multiple opportunities to travel internationally. I already know a lot of the best local vegan restaurants throughout Europe. Allow me to share them with you!

  • Language & Communication: Difficulty explaining “vegan” in local languages, often leading to accidental consumption of dairy, egg, or fish products.
  • Hidden Ingredients: Broth, fish sauce, ghee, and lard are common in international cuisines, making seemingly vegan dishes unsafe.
  • Limited Dining & Options: Many destinations, especially rural areas, offer little to no plant-based options, requiring reliance on snacks or preparing food.
  • Over-Researching: Spending more time searching for food than enjoying the destination.
  • Social & Cultural Pressure: Navigating cultural norms that heavily feature meat/dairy, or feeling awkward during group meals.

Travel Research Stats

Many travelers find trip planning and itinerary creation to be one of the most frustrating parts of the process. I truly enjoy finding the perfect, unique travel options.

Why use a travel planner instead of a travel agent?

  • Travel planners focus on crafting a unique, custom itinerary based on your specific interests, preferences, and budget, rather than fitting you into a pre-defined tour or package.
  • Unlike traditional travel agents, whose recommendations might be influenced by commissions from preferred vendors, a travel planner charges a direct fee and works solely in your best interest.
  • Planners have deep, firsthand knowledge of specific destinations or travel types (e.g., adventure travel, wellness retreats) gained through personal experience and professional networks.
  • Planning a complex or specialized trip can be incredibly time-consuming, often taking hours of research to compare options and details. A travel planner takes care of all of this for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! You could absolutely plan your trip yourself! Utilizing a travel planner is about saving you time, stress, and costly mistakes. I handle the research, logistics, and insider details so you can just enjoy the trip. You’re not paying me to book things—you’re paying for experience, personalization, and peace of mind.

I design the trip and do the heavy lifting on the research so you don’t have to second-guess anything. You get a personalized and fully mapped plan with direct links and clear instructions, so booking is quick and stress-free—without pressure, upsells, or hidden commissions.

I work with a wide range of budgets. I’m not here to make your trip more expensive—I’m here to help you spend intentionally. Good planning often saves money by avoiding mistakes, overpriced areas, or experiences that aren’t worth it. I’m focused on what gives you the best experience for your money, not what costs the most.

That’s actually a key part of how I work. Planning is collaborative—I bring the research, structure, and options, and you bring your preferences and feedback. If something doesn’t resonate, we adjust until it does. The goal is for the trip to feel like yours, not mine.
